One of the biggest interior style trends of the past two years has been maximalism and cottagecore, which promotes cosy, cluttered living over the previously favoured neutral minimalism. In 2023, there will be a mix of the cluttered chaos of maximalism and the sleek simplicity of minimalism. Specifically, the trend will see bursts of colour throughout homes, whether it’s a coloured panel or a feature wall in the living room. The experts all agree we can expect a constant pop of colours. From cobalt blue to apricot and green, mixing together.  The more the better!

Expect to keep seeing this lovely material this year in larger, and more colourful options. As leather and velvet have been the material of choice, we will now add boucle to the list. It is a great material, often durable, works well on round forms of furniture and with its nubby texture its appearance remains consistent over the years. Use it on furniture, cushions and…why not in curtains?
